2M’s Education Research practice area was launched in May 2016 and is led by Dr. Nicholas Beyler, Vice President of Social, Behavioral, and Methodological Science Research. Dr. Beyler is supported by a highly skilled and talented team of education researchers and analysts.

  • A $3.9M contract with NSF to evaluate the Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science (INCLUDES) initiative
    • A $3.9M contract with ED to run the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) Monitoring and State Improvement Planning (MSIP) SPP/APR System and Customer Service Database
      • A $2.6M contract with ED to run the Arts in Education (AIE) Grantee Technical Assistance
        • A $2.2M contract with NSF to evaluate the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR)
          • A $626K Contract with NSF to evaluate the NSF Geoscience Education and Diversity Portfolio Evaluation (GeoED)
            • A subcontract on the What Works Clearinghouse: Postsecondary Education and Postsecondary Preparation Evidence Reporting (WWC-PEPPER) project
