Stéphane Baldi, PhD

Dr. Stéphane Baldi has 20 years of experience managing large, complex research and program evaluation studies in education for federal, state, local, and foundation clients. His areas of expertise include STEM policy, international education, program evaluation, survey methodology, and large-scale data analysis. His responsibilities at 2M Research include developing and implementing 2M’s corporate vision and strategy for business development and client relations related to 2M’s Education Research practice area, and providing corporate oversight for 2M’s education projects. Dr. Baldi has directed work with the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Commerce, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation, and Department of Agriculture, as well as private foundations and school districts across the country. Dr. Baldi most recently served as Vice President of Education at Insight Policy Research and also previously held senior positions at the American Institutes for Research and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. Dr. Baldi received his PhD in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Connecticut. His research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including American Sociological Review, Social Studies of Science, Work and Occupations, Journal of Safety Research, and he has served as the lead author on numerous governmental reports.
