Mary Ann Latter, MA

Mary Ann Latter is the Senior Director of Survey Research at 2M Research. She has over 20 years’ experience working in both the Federal Government and non-profit sector managing large, national and international labor and education studies. Prior to joining 2M, Ms. Latter was a Senior Research Director with NORC at the University of Chicago where she served as project director on studies with budgets between $2,000,000 and $13,000,000. She has significant experience leading studies on post-secondary education, doctoral degree programs, and career outcomes. She gained experience managing in-person data collection efforts for national studies sponsored by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) while working at BLS and at NORC. Ms. Latter’s extensive survey research experience includes developing and managing multimode data collection strategies for federal clients, instrument development and testing, designing appropriate case management systems to effectively manage data collection, data preparation and delivery, and data collection quality control for federal and nonprofit clients, including the National Science Foundation, BLS, the Gates Foundation, the College Board, and the State of Qatar. She received her Master of Arts in Economics from DePaul University and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Michigan State University. Ms. Latter also has a Certificate in Project Management from DePaul University.
