Esther Nolton, MEd
Esther Nolton has more than 10 years of experience in complex health and education research, evaluation, and policy. She is an experienced measurement and evaluation methodologist, specializing in culturally responsive, data visualization, and survey methods. Ms. Nolton is knowledgeable in a diverse array of content areas, including STEM policy; social determinants of health and education; disparities in health and education; public health; and public policy. She has previously served as Project Coordinator for the CDC grant-funded Virginia Concussion Initiative and as the Director of Research for the Sports Medicine and Concussion Departments at Inova Health System. Ms. Nolton earned her Master of Education in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from George Mason University, and is currently a PhD Candidate in Research & Evaluation Methods and Health & Education Policy at George Mason University. She supports 2M’s contract work with the U.S. Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, and the Small Business Administration.
