Anne Gordon, PhD
Dr. Anne Gordon is a Senior Study Director and Senior Economist at 2M Research with more than 30 years of experience in economic and public policy research.
Throughout her three-decade career, Dr. Gordon has majorly contributed to the School Nutrition Dietary Assessment studies for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service. These studies have served as the basis for policy development to improve food and nutrient content of school lunches and breakfasts. She also led the comprehensive evaluation of the Summer Food Service Program, which inspired reformed that reduced the burden on sponsors of administrative requirements and improved access in remote areas.
Since joining 2M Research in 2018, Dr. Gordon has continued work on food and nutrition policy. She is currently leading an exploratory study of how State SNAP agencies protect participants’ personally identifiable information for FNS. This study will combine a survey of all State SNAP agencies with qualitative interviews with exemplary States and with industry experts.
