Allison Tracy, PhD
Dr. Allison Tracy is a Senior Statistician with 2M Research, currently supporting 2M’s contract work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has over 20 years of experience providing methodological and statistical consultation to researchers in a wide variety of disciplines, research topics, and institutions—governmental, academic, programmatic, and commercial. While the methodologies of these projects have varied considerably, Dr. Tracy’s particular expertise is in the modeling of dynamic and contextualized processes inherent in human interactions and development over time, through generalized structural equation modeling. In the service of this work, she also brings extensive expertise in measurement development. In addition to her methodological expertise, Dr. Tracy’s content expertise in human development and diversity firmly grounds her modeling approaches. In particular, through her training and collaborative work, Dr. Tracy offers sensitivity to diversity associated with gender, racial/ethnic group, and social class. Dr. Tracy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Humboldt State University, a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University, and a PhD in Human Development and family studies, with a minor in Statistics, from Pennsylvania State University.
