Paul Ruggiere, PhD
Dr. Paul Ruggiere is the Director of Survey Research at 2M Research. He has over 25 years of survey research experience which includes designing and administering telephone, web-based, mail, and in-person surveys. Prior to joining 2M, Dr. Ruggiere served as the Director of the University of North Texas Survey Research Center. In that role, Dr. Ruggiere served as Principal Investigator on a number of policy, epidemiologic, and health surveillance surveys for universities, state agencies and local agencies. Among those studies, Dr. Ruggiere directed 2M’s statewide surveillance survey on nutrition and chronic disease. This survey was completed as part of 2M’s overall evaluation of a $50 million grant that was received by the State of Texas from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He is responsible for managing 2M’s data collection efforts as well as supporting work related to all of 2M’s contracts with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service. Dr. Ruggiere received his PhD in Sociology, as well as a Master of Science in Sociology and Organizational Behavior, from the University of North Texas.
