2M Research Services, LLC has been awarded a contract for $399,812 to create evidence-based toolkits for work with disconnected youth. 2M will be developing these “Evidence-Based Toolkits” for use by adult navigators that help formerly disconnected youth navigate the transition from high school to community college. More specifically, these “Evidence-Based Toolkits” are being designed to assist navigators in their interactions with disconnected youth and to systematize navigators’ training and technical assistance. This project is serving as the foundation for possible multi-site demonstrations of effective strategies in youth training programs.

Dr. Jim Murdoch, 2M’s Vice President of Statistical Sciences and Senior Economist, will serve as the contract’s Project Director, and 2M’s founder and CEO, Dr. Marcus Martin, will serve as the Deputy Project Director. “2M is committed to conducting actionable research that helps to create effective programming and policies which are aimed at helping disconnected youth successfully transition into higher education institutions and the labor force,” says 2M’s CEO, Dr. Marcus Martin.
