Anne Gordon, PhD
Dr. Anne Gordon is a Senior Study Director and Senior Economist at 2M Research. She has over 30 years of experience in economic and public policy research and has successfully led projects as a subject matter expert and project director. She has been a major contributor to the School Nutrition Dietary Assessment (SNDA) studies for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service, which have been the basis for policy development to improve the food and nutrient content of school lunches and breakfasts. Dr. Gordon has also led the comprehensive evaluation of the Summer Food Service Program which inspired reforms that reduced the burden on sponsors of administrative requirements and improved access in remote areas. In the 1990s, she conducted a series of research projects on WIC participation and eligibility using the Survey of Income and Program Participation and the Current Population Survey. Dr. Gordon received her PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and prior to joining 2M, she served as a Senior Researcher with Mathematica Policy Research.
